Kolam: Learning to draw Amman.
You can draw and then even dress Amman in different colours for Navarathri !
- Kolam means beauty, it brings auspiciousness and prosperity into our homes
- Kolam is a drawing done with rice powder or chalk powder, also known as muggulu or rangoli or tharai alangaram. Doing it is itself a kind of manasa puja to the Goddess
- In this workshop you will learn how to sketch Amman on paper by adorning her from your own imagination, then make a template that you can bring home to use and reuse
Date: 2 days on 17th & 18th September
Time: 3-5 pm on each of the above dates (Total of 4 hours)
